FAQs

I've never been to therapy before. How does it work?

Therapy involves open conversation, self-reflection, and collaborative goal-setting. Your active participation, honesty, and commitment to the process contribute to a successful therapeutic experience.

I usually just talk with my family and friends about my concerns. What makes therapy different?

While friends and family provide valuable support, therapy offers a professional, unbiased perspective. I bring specialized training, expertise, and confidentiality to our sessions, fostering a space for deeper exploration and personal growth.

How long will it take to resolve my concerns?

The duration of therapy varies based on individual needs and goals. We will collaboratively assess progress regularly, and together, we can determine the most suitable timeline for your therapeutic journey.

How can I get the most out of therapy?

To maximize the benefits of therapy, come with an open mind, be honest about your feelings, and actively engage in the process. Setting clear goals and maintaining consistent attendance will contribute to a more effective therapeutic experience.

Why should I consider private pay or Out of Pocket Insurance for therapy sessions?

Opting for private pay offers confidentiality, flexibility, and a focus on personalized care without insurance constraints. This ensures that our therapeutic relationship is driven solely by your unique needs and goals.

What is Out of Network (OON) and a Super Bill?

Out of Network refers to seeking therapy from a provider who isn't in your insurance network. A Super Bill is a detailed invoice provided by the therapist that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please contact your customer service for Behavioral Health on the back of your insurance card to determine if your plan reimburses for Out of Network benefits.
